Observing the Armies on the Battlefield of Kurukṣetra
अस्माकं तु विशिष्टा ये तान्निबोध द्विजोत्तम ।
नायका मम सैन्यस्य संज्ञार्थं तान्ब्रवीमि ते ॥७॥
asmākaṁ tu viśiṣṭā ye
tān nibodha dvijottama
nāyakā mama sainyasya
saṁjñārthaṁ tān bravīmi te

Translationअनुवाद
O best of the brāhmaṇas, for your information, let me tell you about the captains who are especially qualified to lead my military force.
किन्तु हे ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठ! आपकी सूचना के लिए मैं अपनी सेना के उन नायकों के विषय में बताना चाहूँगा जो मेरी सेना को संचालित करने में विशेष रूप से निपुण हैं ।
