Welcome to VedaKosa
By accessing or using vedakosa.com ("VedaKosa"), you acknowledge and agree to adhere to these Terms & Conditions. Our platform is dedicated to spiritual contemplation, personal growth, and authentic study of classical Indic scriptures.
1. Devotional & Non-Commercial Purpose
VedaKosa is maintained as a free, non-commercial public resource to facilitate deep study of India's Vedic heritage. All content is made accessible to the public without paywalls, fees, mandatory subscriptions, or intrusive advertising.
2. Scripture Integrity & Canonical Attribution
The primary texts hosted on VedaKosa, including Sanskrit verses (*mula-shlokas*), word-by-word synonyms (*anvaya*), English and Hindi translations, and elaborate purports (*tatparya*), represent sacred traditions and translations by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda and revered acharyas.
Users agree to treat these texts with dignity, avoid taking verses out of context for defamatory purposes, and maintain attribution to the original author when quoting excerpts.
3. Fair Use & Personal Study
You are warmly encouraged to:
- Read, bookmark, and contemplate all scriptures offline or online.
- Generate and share quote cards for educational, philosophical, or spiritual inspiration.
- Quote shlokas and purports in personal study groups, scholarly essays, discourses, and articles with appropriate citation.
You agree not to:
- Engage in aggressive denial-of-service scraping that disrupts server access for other spiritual seekers.
- Repackage the VedaKosa platform under a misleading identity or behind commercial paywalls.
4. Platform Disclaimer & Service Availability
VedaKosa is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for absolute accuracy in typographical formatting, transliterations, and translation synchronizations, human errors may occasionally occur. We welcome corrections through our Contact Page.
