Karma-yoga

ये त्वेतदभ्यसूयन्तो नानुतिष्ठन्ति मे मतम् ।

सर्वज्ञानविमूढांस्तान्विद्धि नष्टानचेतसः ॥३२॥

ye tv etad abhyasūyanto nānutiṣṭhanti me matam sarva-jñāna-vimūḍhāṁs tān viddhi naṣṭān acetasaḥ

ye — those; tu — however; etat — this; abhyasūyantaḥ — out of envy; na — do not; anutiṣṭhanti — regularly perform; me — My; matam — injunction; sarva-jñāna — all sorts of knowledge; vimūḍhān — perfectly befooled; tān — they are; viddhi — know it well; naṣṭān — all ruined; acetasaḥ — without Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

ये — जो; तु — किन्तु; एतत् — इस; न — नहीं; अनुतिष्ठन्ति — नियमित रूप से सम्पन्न करते हैं; मतम् — आदेश; सर्व-ज्ञान — सभी प्रकार के ज्ञान में; तान् — उन्हें; विद्धि — ठीक से जानो; नष्टान् — नष्ट; अचेतसः — कृष्णभावमृत रहित |.

Translationअनुवाद

But those who, out of envy, disregard these teachings and do not practice them regularly, are to be considered bereft of all knowledge, befooled, and doomed to ignorance and bondage.

किन्तु जो ईर्ष्यावश इन उपदेशों की अपेक्षा करते हैं और इनका पालन नहीं करते उन्हें समस्त ज्ञान से रहित, दिग्भ्रमित तथा सिद्धि के प्रयासों में नष्ट-भ्रष्ट समझना चाहिए |

Purportतात्पर्य

The flaw of not being Kṛṣṇa conscious is clearly stated herein. As there is punishment for disobedience to the order of the supreme executive head, so there is certainly punishment for the disobedience of the order of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. A disobedient person, however great he may be, is ignorant of his own self, of the Supreme Brahman, and Paramātmā and the Personality of Godhead, due to a vacant heart. Therefore there is no hope of perfection of life for him.

यहाँ पर कृष्णभावनाभावित न होने के दोष का स्पष्ट कथन है | जिस प्रकार परम अधिशासी की आज्ञा का उल्लंघन के लिए दण्ड होता है, उसी प्रकार भगवान् के आदेश के प्रति अवज्ञा के लिए भी दण्ड है | अवज्ञाकारी व्यक्ति चाहे कितना ही बड़ा क्यों न हो वह शून्य हृदय होने से आत्मा के प्रति तथा परब्रह्म, परमात्मा एवं श्री भगवान् के प्रति अनभिज्ञ रहता है | अतः ऐसे व्यक्ति से जीवन की सार्थकता की आशा नहीं की जा सकती |
